Ovulation not during LH SURGE?

So I think my body is confused , today was my LH surge on my opk strips . I’m on CD17, but on CD 12,13,14 I have all the hallmark signs of ovulation:EWCM , cervix is super high soft , sex drive. But today which should be peak im completely dry , cervix is lower and firm , no sex drive . I thought during peak all those things should align? Anyone else deal with this?

That’s super normal! Trust the opks and not your physical symptoms. 
Determining ovulation based on cervix position, sex drive, and cervical mucus are very poor indicators of ovulation. Opks will determine the LH surges BUT tracking bbt will confirm and pinpoint ovulation.

Happens with me...I have ewcm and high libido 1-3 days before my peak on LH. I usually ovulate 24 hours after my peak. On my ovulation day I seem to have very low cm. I usually bd with ewcm and on my peak day as well.

mine was weird also this month i had a surge cd 17 but no symptoms no noticeable cm and no cramps like usual..but then cd 20 i had ewcm and cramps and all that..so i just bd every other day all week just in case 🤷🏻‍♀️ no idea what's going on with my body lol
