Advice please 😞❤️‍🩹

I have been (or thought I was) miscarrying for 2 weeks, contractions for days, severe bleeding and clots. The bleeding stopped 3 days ago and finally went for a scan yesterday to confirm my baby has passed - but the sac and foetus is still in there although very hard to see or measure due to the amount of blood still in my uterus. She was really thorough but said she can’t give me a definite answer yet. I have another scan booked in a week to look for growth. Has anyone ever experienced this? I had a small hemmorage in there previously so I have no idea if this is related
