When to start taking bc

I’m supposed to start my period March 8th. Can I start taking my birth control now? Or should I wait til after my period?

Answer

U can start it anytime u want. If u start it within the first few days of being on ur period then the birth control will be effective immediately, but if u start any other time (including now) then u will have to wait at least 7 days for it to be effective.
