How would I know if they gave me an episiotomy? All I know is that I had a second degree tear with 2-3 stitches and that I pushed for 30 minutes. If you had one what degree how many stitches and how long did you push ? I never saw or felt any stitches on the outside but I never looked internally and now I’m healed. It was my first baby so how would I know?? I’m questioning if I have had one bc I now have a vaginal inclusion cyst on the back wall internally in my vagina and it says these are most likely caused by episiotomy. I never gave consent for that so I don’t really know how I’ll ever know the truth bc it wasn’t even my doctor who ended up delivering me ;(
