Okay y’all, so I switched from IUD to NuvaRing. On February 6th I had my IUD taken out (around lunch time) and the doctor told me to put my NuvaRing in as soon as I got it (around 8:00pm that same day, which I did).

About a week after being on the NuvaRing, I started noticing that my boobs were SO sore like couldn’t even lay on my side to sleep, couldn’t hug anyone, could barely touch them without them hurting, etc. They hurt for about 2-2.5 weeks and are still a little sore to this day but not as bad. About 2 weeks after being on the NuvaRing, I started spotting very light pink. Well fast forward to this week. I took my NuvaRing out 21 days after having it in, as you’re supposed to. I started bleeding actual red blood the same day.

I haven’t had a true “period” in about 6 months since being on the IUD, so I don’t think that’s what the actual red blood is that I have right now. I don’t think it would’ve regulated that quickly.

I had sex February 5th (the day before I switched) and February 22nd and he did cum inside. My question is, could I have gotten pregnant somehow during the switch? I’ve just had so many weird symptoms that I’m not sure are part of the normal NuvaRing symptoms. I’ve just felt weird and off in general. I took a pregnancy test 3 weeks ago and it was negative. I don’t want to waste a test so I’m asking your opinions here first lol.
