Formula help

Jacquelyn

My first was on alimentum because she had a milk intolerance. Fast forward to my son (Born 2-14-23) I started with the infant neuro pro (similac) and he was super fussy, really gassy, and would vomit.

Now he is on gentle ease for 2 going on 3 days and he seems to be the same. But I’m not sure if it is because he still has the old formula in his system. The only difference is he seems content after a feeding but then acts fussy every now and then especially at night. He now also only eats 2 ounces at a time instead of 3 and every two hours. It’s as if he is more full but it feels like he’s not! And I’ve tried different bottle brands and I’m still trying to see what he wants but it looks like he prefers the Philips avent bottles.

I’ve also had to use the windy on him and he releases A LOT of gas. So I’m not sure if the gentle ease is his best choice or it’s the old formula??

I’m not sure if I should try the similac pro-total comfort or similac sensitive formula…

Or just jump to the alimentum because he might be just like my daughter and have a milk intolerance.

I want to give the gentle ease a few more days (he has an appt on the 6th) and see what his doctor says before trying a new one or should I switch now and then see how that is.

Hopefully you can help me out because I’m so confused and I hate seeing him upset! TIA
