Anyone struggle with postpartum hypertension? I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension at 37 weeks and was induced at 37 weeks and 1 day. I had preeclampsia with my previous 2 pregnancies. Thankfully this time it wasnt preeclampsia. My blood pressure was good (not great).120-130/70-80 while in the hospital. However I went in for a blood pressure check 4 days postpartum and it was 140/100. They want me to start taking labetalol. Now outside pregnancy my bp is typically 115/70. Has anyone had problems with gestational hypertension not goinf away ? How long did it last??
