SneekPeak Clinical - Snap test?
I did the SneakPeek Clinical test with my son in 2021 and it was a phlebotomist that drew blood from the vein, everything was accurate! Fast forward to 2023, I’m pregnant again and book with the same facility that did it last time, but when I get there a woman did the Snap test on my arm. I was already there and aware of the “less than 24hr cancellation policy would mean 50% of payment is due” rule, so I did it. But I was/am slightly upset that I paid 150$ for something I could have done myself for cheaper; I only booked with them for it to be sterile and straight from the vein so I could feel confident in its accuracy. She put on gloves but had to touch things (like iPad as I filled out info and the couch we sat on also touched everything and therefore her hands) it was “clean” but I also know men go there with their partners for ultrasounds, using the same room/couch. I got my results back today that it’s a boy, and while I’ll be over the moon either way, I can’t help but wonder if there was any error in that result just because of the differences/chances of contamination
Has anyone recently had a Snap test taken in clinic?? Was it accurate?
I had such peace of mind with my son the first time I did this and I feel the opposite this time
