Does anyone know about abuse? In Missouri

My ex abused me while I was with him. He choked me and also slapped me a across my face a few times. Can I use this in court? I have a video of him admitting he choked me.

He does so much to me and it’s tearing me down as a person.. I always give him my daughter when I’m suppose to.. he never doesn’t give her back when he’s suppose to ever. I need to take this to court so I’m not scared and worried about if he’s going to give her back to me.
