How do we feel about the baby boy name Colson? My husband and I are totally in love with it.. but my best friend ruined it by constantly picking at it and calling him Colon.

Oh my gosh I love it. I love it more than Colton. And of all the ridiculous and weird names ive heard of, that's not even on the list. Tell ur "friend" to get lost. If you guys love it thats literally all that matters. this is why my husband and i didn't reveal our sons name because we didn't want outside input or for someone to make us feel bad about it.  Maybe you could keep the name private for the remainder of ur pregnancy? Then when baby is born with the name you two choose and love, if anyone still pokes fun, thats an excellent opportunity to practice laying down the law and demanding and respect. 💜💜💜 i totally think you should use Colson. I absolutely think its beautiful.

It’s not a bad name in theory. There’s nothing wrong with it. I just don’t like it because it sounds like it’s pretentious to me 🤷‍♀️ but that’s personal opinion. You should use it if you love it and don’t worry about anyone else’s opinion. It’s a perfectly decent, normal name.

Ok I would go with Colton. It sounds like coleslaw, and maybe you want to be unique but it’s a no from me. Colton is an awesome strong name and not that common.
