Since my first appointment I have been trying to get my blood drawn for my prenatal labs. I went to two different labs both with excellent phlebotomists. They were able to get veins, but my blood just wouldn’t flow.  Yes, I hydrated like crazy I’m talking four bottles of Pedialyte the day before, and the day of each blood draw. The ladies at the hospital lab told me I might have to get a port or an ultrasound might have to be used to find a vein which I definitely cannot afford. I’m still fighting it out with my insurance from having an IV placed that way for the birth of my daughter. Has anyone else been through this with blood draws?  My OB and her nurses line will not be available until right before they close up shop tomorrow.  any and all wisdom will be appreciated. And yes, I have tried leafy greens to thin the blood a little 🤦‍♀️😭
