So we found out I was pregnant on Jan 31st. We had our confirmation appointment on 2/15. One of my friends is an ultrasound tech and did an unofficial sneak peak. We saw a gestational sac with nothing in there which we didn’t expect to because we guesstimated that we were around 5 weeks which the sac measured out around 5 weeks. I get a call last week that my progesterone was a 7.3 and I needed to start it immediately which I did, and that I needed to come in for a scan 7-10 days from that call. Which the ultrasound was completed yesterday. The sac grew and measured at 7wks2days but there was no fetal pole or yolk sac. We are running HCG levels one from yesterday and then again Monday. The doctor has hopes that if my levels are good that everything should be fine. I have another ultrasound on the 15th. Has this ever happened to anyone and still have a healthy baby or was it a miscarriage?

Update:

So we still haven’t had our next ultrasound however I went in to run my second set of labs and picked up my lab report from last Thursday. My progesterone levels went from 7.3 to 9.9 and my HCG levels came back at 33,422. So now we are waiting for todays lab results which I’m sure we will get by Wednesday or Thursday and then of course the official tell all will be our ultrasound scan on the 15th. The waiting game sucks so badly!
