Did anyone’s dd born with dark eyes end up with blue?

I’ve seen lots of babies who had slate grey eyes end up blue but I’ve noticed a common factor - a whitish rim around the pupil prior. My baby has slate grey eyes and is 1 month but has no white around the pupil. I’m wondering if anyone has had a dd that had dark slate eyes with no white rim and ended up blue?

My daughter had blue eyes when she was born, not gray. She's 2 now and they are quite literally half brown half blue. Brown on the inside blue on the outside. It depends on the light what color they look. I think she's going to be considered hazel since they have been that way for a year now. My sons are more gray looking with the white rim and we shall find out, he's only 4 weeks old.
