hey all. my periods have been irregular lately so my doctor ran a few tests/ultrasound and it appears that i have PCOS. so they prescribed me metformin to see how that works over the next few months before referring me to a OBGYN.

my tests indicate that my androstenedione and free testosterone are high, while my insulin resistance, FHS, DHEAS, and sex hormone globulin are normal. i am just wondering if anyone else had success with metformin even though you were not insulin resistant? i am hesitant to try it due to the side effects, but my husband and i are trying to conceive 🥺 my knowledge of PCOS is also new... thank you ✨
