Ultrasound at 7 weeks 6 days - GS with no embryo

Has this happened to anyone else? The gestational sac was clear as day but couldn’t see anything inside. The tech started acting weird and wouldn’t give me an information. She did not give me the sac measurements. She tried both abdomenally and transvaginally. All she said was that I could be measuring early but that she’s not allowed to give me any “results” and that I would have to wait until next week to hear from my doctor. I’m beside myself. Please help
