I tested positive on the 17th feb, i had a scan when i was around 6 weeks (not exactly sure of 1st day of last period, lots has happened since) and they said i was more likely 5 weeks (its normal for dates to change) and the sonographer said it was the earliest she'd ever seen a heartbeat. So if it was a faint positive it may just be way to early to see anything, what type of scan did they do?

i tested positive on the 19th very faint line which over time has gotten darker. was taking tests everyday before which were negative. i had a scan today as i should be around 6 weeks but they couldn’t see anything at all. has anyone had this before? how early could i be based off my positive test date ?

i’ve to go back in another 2 weeks which will be a month after my first positive test x

I dont know how early you could be just that if mine was only just visible and i had a strong positive on the 17th (was an evening wee too not fmu) then its possible youre just too early to see anything. Have they asked you to go back?
What’s the first day of your last period? If you aren’t far enough along sometimes you can’t see anything on the ultrasound. Also once the test is past the 5 min window the results are invalid so it wouldn’t matter if it got darker. This is also why they don’t usually want to do an ultrasound until after 8 weeks because at that point you should see the baby and heartbeat 💓

my last period was the 22nd of january. i tested negative till the 19th which was 5 days before my expected period. i was told they should be able to see at least a fetal pole / yolk sac etc by now ? xx
