bv after sex

pretty sure i’m getting bv after sex almost every single time (been with my boyfriend over 2 years and we’re each others only partner)

ive been taking azo pre/probiotics after sex and the day after sex and then a few days later is usually when the bv symptoms show up. when this happens i’ll use the Ph-d boric acid suppositories. i usually only use it that one time and i’m good after.

however rn my discharge is yellowish and smells and im uncomfortable after i pee but not burning like a uti.

i figure i’ll drink a lot of water and use another boric acid suppository.

but how do i prevent bv in the future?? i’ll suggest condoms to my boyfriend because rn we don’t use them. but looking for other ideas and brands
