I been having a persistent sore throat for the past 4 days and my tonsils have white patches on them which I never get for a simple cold, I went to urgent care and the ER and they tested me for mono and strep all came back negative they still gave me antibiotics but nothing has changed I’m scared it’s not gonna go away ( when I went to urgent care they prescribed me antibiotics amoxicillin liquid ) but turns out after 2 days it wasnt working because they gave me a kids dose. So ER gave me the appropriate dosage and I’m starting to take it I’m just scared it’s not gonna work because it’s liquid( I can’t swallow a pill)
