Is nana wrong?
Not baby related but who was wrong?👀
Okay so back story my great grandmas 83rd birthday was this past Saturday we had a celebration. I haven’t seen these people in maybe 3/4 years due to it ALWAYS being drama / issues. My great grandma asked for her great great grandkids (mine) to sing her happy birthday. My kids are her only great great grand children outside of my oldest sister kids who was not there. When my great grandma made the announcement that she wanted my girls to sing her happy birthday one of her grand daughters got REALLY mad & started packing up her kids stuff to go. On the way out she said IF THOSE GIRLS WERE ACTUALLY BLACK WITH NAPPY HAIR NONE OF YALL WOULD HAVE WANTED THEM IN THE FAMILY. So then ofc I felt immediately attacked and was like “stfu that’s why I hate this dumbSsa family etc “ & then everybody was going off and saying how I shouldn’t have cursed in front of my nana and what not but my family is so freaking colorist, & I dislike it so much! So i just blew up , They always talk about my girls, how pretty they are, how they have pretty privilege vs there kids in my family who are darkskin, there hair, they are genuinely infatuated with them for all the wrong reasons.
Was my grandma wrong? for singling out my children when she had other grand children in the room? No other party got upset about it outside of her grand daughter.
Maybe I’m biast because there my kids so I just want someone else’s pov. Also everybody in the room dang her happy birthday prior all the grandkids as well
