Do I need to wake my 4 week old up every 4 to 5 hours at night to feed still?

She was 7.99 at birth and is now 9.9 pounds now at 4 weeks. Can I let her sleep for 6 or more hours between feedings at night or do I still need to set an alarm to wake her up?

My children’s pediatrician says it’s okay to let them sleep once they are back to birth weight. If you are breastfeeding, just know that going longer stretches at night *might* cause your supply to down-regulate.

Interesting how everyone says something different. Our pediatrician said to wake to feed every 4 hours until 2 months.

I would ask your pediatrician. They’ll give you the best advice for what they think based off your child. 
With my son they were ok with us letting him sleep once he hit his birth weight again after we were discharged from the hospital. With my daughter (we had a few issues and was re-admitted back to the hospital within 2 days of going home after d/c from birth) and after she started gaining weight back on a consistent basis, the pediatrician was okay with us going by when she was hungry overnight Vs waking every 2-3 hours.
