For y’all who are SAHM, how much does your husband make to support everyone? 
Just curious to see if I could be a SAHM 😂

That would completely depend on the cost of living in your area and your lifestyle. Some people can do it on $40k, some need $100k+

Thankfully my husband does very well now, but even when we married, i stayed home with my son who was autistic. We now have 3 children, 4 come September/Oct! Like us, we struggled with me being a SAHM back when he was making like $15/hr, but if you are good at managingit, and can afford it, it is possible! Now he makes roughly$75,000/year and our bills have gone way up, but we still make it work. Around here, it cost me more to have a job then just staying home!!!! I know it sounds crazy, but its true after you considergas to/from work, sitter costs, etc.

Around 45k. We own our home and our mortgage is low. Two vehicles but one is paid off, so just one low car payment. I budget groceries and we don’t go out much. Neither of us are big shoppers. Living within your means is important. It can work.

Within the last year i quit my $100k a year job to be a SAHM to my two boys (2.5 and 3 months). My husband owns his own business so his income changes yearly based on how the business does. Last year he brought home a little over $2m. We are definately not the typical family with our income. My sister in law is a SAHM to 4 children and her husband makes a little over $40k a year.

That's highly dependent on where you live and your lifestyle. 
Track your expenses for a few months then decide if it is worth it to you.

You have to add up all of your monthly costs, including groceries and gas, and then subtract it from his monthly income and decide if what you have left over is enough to be comfortable. We would be ok with $3000 a month in our area but it would be tight, but where my cousin lives that would not come close to being enough to make it on.  It all depends on the cost of living in your area. I work part time so we have some cushion in our account, plus my husband gets a quarterly profit sharing check that helps out a lot.

$65-$70k depending on how much overtime he works. We live in a rural area of MI. We live pretty comfortably.
