Blood in diaper?

My baby girl is 6 days old and it looks like blood in her diaper. I called the clinic they said it could just be hormones anyone else experience this and how long did it last?

It's actually really common. Baby girls can have what seems like a little period (it's from your hormones) they can also have little raised breast buds (also from your hormones.) Of course they never tell you this before you have a baby. But yes. Very common.

Baby girls can experience something called “brick dust” which is from hormones causing them to have almost something like a period. Also with newborns they tend to have seedy stool which can cut their anus and cause bleeding as well.
