Due in 6 weeks, haven’t really been gifted a lot of things, only got gifts from my mom, my MIL, and out of all my friends only 2 gifted us things. I’ve had people offer me secondhand items only for them to ignore my messages. I’m supposed to be having a baby shower but don’t really know if anyone would show up. A lot of the items I have I’ve gotten myself second hand. My husband is active duty military, and I’m a SAHM. We rely on one income and his pay is getting cut soon due to COLA (cost of living allowance). We live in an expensive state, so things here are more expensive compared to other states. I really don’t expect anything, but anything is and always will be appreciated.
