So I guess my posts will start early with this pregnancy!

Hello everyone! And boy am I in a pickle. So a bit of history, I’m 29, I had my first baby at 24. I am a type 1 diabetic and am hypothyroid both pre-pregnancy. I am currently 10wks 4 days with my second. Now for the first pregnancy there was only one Maternal Fetal Medicinist in the the nearest 6 cities. So I saw him. He…. Well he has the bedside manner of a duck. I was offered to go to a new MFM this time. So my OB did his thing, reviewed my records and referred me to the new people.

My first pregnancy complications were, Diabetes (not gestational) Hypothyroidism, IGUR, preeclampsia and a postpartum hemorrhage.

So this place calls me today to set me up, for a 20 week anatomy scan… I thought you see them wayyy more often because the first time I did this the MFM saw me at 12wkd 7dys and these people are saying not until 20 weeks. Meaning no fetal echocardiogram? No genetic screening? Will I not have non-stress tests? Why is this one so different from my first when realistically I now have more risk factors then I did the first time? Could somebody have messed up paperwork? Helpppp!!!! Should I call them? Do I call my OB and ask. Like the first time I saw the MFM was at 12, then again at 16, then like weekly after that. So I’m confused.
