Anyone had a membrane sweep and went into labor after?

This is my 3rd child. I already went into preterm labor at 33+2 but they stopped jt. I’m 35 weeks tomorrow and in a week when I’ll be 36 weeks (my last appointment due to having cholostasis all 3 pregnancies and can’t deliver or carry past 37w) I asked my dr if there was anything he could do so I can try o go into labor on my own first before my induction date (2 weeks away) and he offered a membrane sweep before my induction (my last appointment I’m assuming) and I was already 2 cms dilated and 50% effaced at 34 weeks ! Can I hear some positive stories about anyone who’s had multiple kids and a membrane sweep!! Tia

With my 1st I had a membrane sweep at 40 weeks when I was 1cm and went into labour 3 days later. With my 2nd I had a membrane sweep at 41 weeks when I was 2cm and went into labour 2 days later. Will definitely be having a sweep with my 3rd if I get to 40/41 weeks again to hopefully avoid the need for an induction. For me they were only mildly uncomfortable and definitely worth it.

I had a membrane sweep at 37 weeks and again at 38 weeks, my water broke 2 days after my second sweep. Labor never really got going though so I had to be get pitocin, so I didn’t have the natural birth I wanted.

With my third baby they started doing membrane sweeps at 36 weeks as my pregnancies are very high risk. At 36 weeks I was 3cm and they did sweep. It didn’t do anything at 37 weeks before induction they did another sweep still at three and nothing happened. 
It made me so nauseas, crampy and feeling unwell. They were convinced as it was my third and I’d previously had preterm labour that it’d be fine but it wasn’t. 
I wasn’t allowed any hormones so they needed up rupturing my waters and let me stay in as I wasn’t allowed to be outside the hospital when I went into labour.
