As an employer, would you reconsider my application after looking at my Instagram account? (see photo)
My mom told me that my instagram account is raunchy and that employers won’t hire me after looking at it. After pressing her, she admitted that the majority of photos are probably fine, but a few “should go”. I told her that’s a rather outdated view and that for my line of work (creative photography + design), that my account is totally fine. Also, not to mention that you’re allowed to have a personal life outside of work.
