Would you eat these cookies

Someone very dear to my heart gave me these cookies on Christmas

We were cleaning our pantry and discovered the bin (we ate a lot of them at the time and put them away after a while). My hun said to throw them out since it had been so long, I did a stupid Google and people say "These don't go bad" ummm I don't think food that can last for months without going bad is a good thing. Is it crazy to be quizical?
