Vaginal odor, Please Help!

I have noticed the past two days my vagina has an odor, similar to a sour bread smell, but is foul. But it’s a smell that I have never experienced before, even when I have had a yeast infection in the past. I am trying to schedule an appt with my obgyn. But any tips on what I can do in the mean time. It’s really embarrassing and I don’t know what to do, wondering if my ph balance is just off right now. I am sexually active only with my bf.
