Antibiotics while breastfeeding

I’m so stressed. I had mastitis and was given antibiotics (Amoxicillin) and was told that it’s safe but I don’t like taking meds especially when I breastfeed and my newborn may had side effects so I stopped after 3 days and felt normal then about 2-3 weeks later now, I don’t have redness or feel a clogged duct but it does feel a bit tender and I woke up with a fever body chills, body aches, headache and congestion. I still have my antibiotics… I took them.. with 600mg of ibuprofen that was also prescribed. So I’m gonna finish the meds.. but idk about breastfeeding.. I read the side effects and I do not like it.. had anyone experienced this??
