Weird feeling in my toes? Like a hair is tickling me, but no hair

So last week I woke up with one single toe feeling like I had a piece of hair brushing against it, ya know, like a single stray hair when it gets on your face, but it was on my toe. I have looked. My husband has looked. There’s no hair on my toe! I don’t even grow hair there, there’s no tourniquet. It’s been a week now and this feeling is driving me crazy, but I’m guessing it’s a nerve issue. Maybe nerves being compressed by baby? Has anyone else experienced this? Super random and probably insignificant but it’s driving me nuts lol.

It can be because of swelling and water retention. I noticed before my feet even looked swollen that my toes felt extra tingly. Now at 34 weeks I have pregnancy related carpal tunnel in both wrists and numbness in my feet due to swelling. Most common places for tingles due to this is hands and feet because of gravity. Your body makes so much extra blood and when it goes to circulate it hits an obstruction (baby) and slows down. Partner that and water retention and you get quite a bit of extra pressure on your nerves (or so my doctor told me) 😉

I felt something similar in the tub last night, but when I looked at my toe, it was twitching off the hook! 🤣 like if a worm was at a rave or something 🤣 (it was my middle toe lol)
