Returning an item

I ordered a very expensive bag from outlet Marc jacobs store. I am waiting for it to come in the mail. once it does, I am planning on returning it. the outlet store is very far away from me so I’m just wondering if I would be able to return it within a department store (Neiman Marcus) even if I didn’t purchase it there to begin with? Neiman Marcus sells marc jacobs items. idk if anyone would be able to help or know this answer but I thought i’d ask lol.
