I don’t know if I’m being overly sensitive because of my history with sexual abuse, but a few months after our son was born, I noticed my boyfriend touching me while we were sleeping. The first time, I woke up with my underwear all shifted and I was confused so I asked him if we did anything and he said “oh yeah you pulled my hand onto you last night so I just thought you wanted it” so immediately I blamed myself like “I don’t remember but I believe you, ok”. Then I started waking up in the middle of the night to him touching me in my underwear and i would just say “stop” or “not right now sorry”. This has continued randomly but here’s the actual problem. He claims he is asleep when he touches me without permission. BUT just last night, he had fallen asleep before me and I was laying on my stomach when I felt his hand suddenly reach down my butt crack expecting to find my vagina. I pulled away and said “no” and he goes “I thought you wanted me to.” At this point I’m just confused. I feel violated with him touching me without me knowing or participating, but he’s claiming I’m asking for it and HES the one who’s asleep. If I argue, he starts yelling like I’m trying to accuse him of being a rapist. I’m not… I just don’t like being touched when I’m unaware.
