Help please!

Slightly embarrassing but I need some advice please. I’m TTC and have had miscarriages in the past. I was having intermittent bleeding and was told by the doc I’ve got BV. I’ve had a course of both oral and vaginal antibiotics and been using Balance Activ but it still hasn’t gone 😩 the doc says he’s now going to treat my partner and I at the same time and test again. Has anyone else had anything like this?

Antibiotics might also mess with your v! So while youre taking them and after, really focus on your gut health. I know it sounds crazy but when im not eating well and especially not eating enough fiber, i get BV wayyy easier. Don't be embarrassed. Good luck ♡

Bv is an imbalance of the bacteria in our vaginas. Make sure you are wearing cotton underwear, no tight pants around your vagina, I would stop using any douches or vaginal soaps because they can create the Imbalance. Also your laundry soap or even lube can cause the imbalance. I struggled with it back to back and would get yeast infections too. I would try a probiotic specifically for vaginal health to see if that helps. Oh I also used refresh ph balancing a few times and it helped. I haven't had anything in years.

My method is extreme but it has worked for me EVERY time.. don’t eat. Literally only drink water. This will starve the bacteria. You’ll notice a difference day 2 and day 3 it will be pretty much resolved. Then stay off sugars for a bit. The bacteria thrives on sugars so don’t give it an environment it wants to come back to. Wash with just water. Use an ointment like aquaphor if you’re skin is super irritated down there. Hope all that helps. Goodluck girly, rooting for you💛
