If you want more of my story, my entire family went to Maui for my mom’s 70th birthday and while the rest of my family went home, my spouse, my (at the time) 23 month old, and I went to the big island to visit a friend. Well, on the flight, my uterus ruptured and as soon as we landed, I got whisked away to the ED where I underwent an emergency c-section and due to my ruptured uterus, lost over half of my blood volume. Luckily, I survived and am finally back home in California, but I didn’t get to nest or anything since I was in the ICU for so long and baby girl was in the NICU.
