Hello friends I am new here,

I just had my first baby in March 30,2023. He was 34 weeks. So 6 weeks early. In the sonogram we saw his dopplers were off. They monitored me for 36 hours in the hospital and than put me in for a c section because they felt it was safer to have him here than in my belly. His platelets were low so we were doing multiple tests trying to find out what’s going and he ended up having CMV. He got a head ultrasound and MRI done and everything came back clean, he passed his vision test but sadly has failed his hearing screenings and even failed the Baer test. I am just looking for some advice and anyone that’s going through a similar story, my baby being deaf right now is really hurting my soul. We are taking medication and hoping for the best. Please share your stories. I’ve done LOTS of research but rather hear someone’s personal experience. Thanks in advance for your time.
