Just wanted to see others opinions on this.

I personally think if a dog shows aggression towards kids or adults, it should live in a home kid free. If someone has a dog who has shown aggression towards a baby or kid, it should be rehomed. Training can work but doesn’t mean the dog can’t snap later on. And of course teach kids to respect a dog’s boundaries.

If your dog bit your child, would you rehome?

Yes animals are family, but I would never put my child’s life before an animals. I’ve seen too many story’s of even babies getting mauled when the dog approaches them. If you wouldn’t rehome your dog, why not?
