Should i go to the ER again for my hernia?

It’s been incarcerated 3 times at this point, with extreme pain and tenderness. Each time I’ve went, they’ve given me lots of pain meds and then pushed it back in as far as they could because I’m 28 weeks pregnant and they’re scared of doing surgery. Well, it clearly popped back out and I’m rolling around in bed in pain all across my stomach and it hurts to stand up.. or even move.  Should I even bother going back? I feel like they’re not understanding the amount of pain I’m in (I’ve had several scans done and it’s not intestines yet, it’s just been tissue)

Oh my gosh, that sounds so painful, I'm so sorry you're going through this during your pregnancy! Honestly, in my opinion, I would absolutely go to the ER. It may have only been abdominal tissue previously, but at any point it could become an organ trapped in that hernial space and then it becomes a severe medical emergency. And at 28 weeks, you have still got quite a long time in your pregnancy, so you cant really risk any complications over the final few months. Also, in terms of practicality, your baby is going to continue to grow and as the baby grows, it can push on the intestines which can then assist those organs in slippihg through into the hernia. Its just not a chance I would want to take in your position. Please keep calm and keep us updated though, will be thinking of you and sending lots of love and positive vibes your way.
