Question

My 5 month sleeps with this alone in crib
He knows how to roll over to tummy but not from tummy to back 😭
Since past 2 days he keeps on rolling on to his tummy during sleep when i see him i turn him to his back 
Any tips please? What if I’m in deep sleep and don’t notice🥺🥺🥺

Once he can roll over on his tummy, its generally considered safe to let him sleep on his stomach.

Is he able to hold his head up/push up with his arms ? I have a 5 month old who loves sleeping on his belly. Every time I lay him down he rolls right over to his tummy. We use the magic sleep sack, that way his arms are out. At his 4 month checkup the pediatrician gave us the okay that we don’t have to roll him back over at this point (of course I’m still checking to make sure he’s breathing every 10 minutes 😂) since he can push himself up and he has rolled back to belly before but since he’s learned to roll from back to belly he doesn’t really do it the other way

You don’t need to roll him back. Place him on his back when you put him in the crib, and then any position he gets himself into from there is safe.

My daughter only slept on her stomach from the second she could roll over. I cannot recommend the owlet sock or something similar enough! We bit the bullet and spent the money on the owlet and it was literally the ONLY thing that gave me peace of mind to sleep myself. I just recently saw the make a little diaper clip or something that I believe works similar to the owlet and is cheaper.

So my LO learned tummy to back first and then back to tummy. We stopped swaddling and switched to sleep sack. After learning to roll from back to tummy they forgot how to roll from tummy to back or didn’t want to do it and constantly kept rolling to sleep on tummy. I googled like crazy and continued tummy time. But now LO has been sleeping on tummy for a month in their crib and been fine and have enough strength to roll back but chooses not to, in fact started going on all fours when they wake up. I am no longer worried but that was one worrisome month I spent. Baby has enough strength to keep their nose up. I used to turn the baby and they would turn right back on tummy so there was no point in it. Looks like our baby is tummy sleeper like the both of us. Try not to worry and as others have said once they roll to tummy on their own it is safe to leave them. Just make sure no soft toys or loose blankets in the crib.
