how long does it take for a baby to adjust to a new sitter?

it’s been 4 days so far and he is still crying all day. he NEVER cries and i really think he just doesn’t like it there. he’s used to being the only kid at our old babysitter… and this in home daycare one has a lot more. i just have anxiety really bad about this and a bad feeling. but i think i’d have a bad feeling with anyone. i walked in on the first day and he was SCREAMING. like he’s a newborn or something and he’s 8 months.
every time i text her and ask how she’s doing she says he’s crying 😳
