Do you have to pay tax to get Smp or just earn more then £123 a week? It’s so confusing cause my boss said I might not qualify as I’m I don’t pay tax but I earn £140 a week.

To qualify for Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), you need to earn at least £123 per week on average. Paying tax is not a requirement to receive SMP.
