We knew it was going to be trouble, but after the interview with Trump, CNN is under heavy criticism for allowing Trump to lie in a space filled with his supporters. According to reports, the moderator did not correct his lies, allowed him to call her ‘nasty women’ and basically had no control over the conversation.

Let’s talk about this. The media has an incredible responsibility that is constantly squandered with little retribution. Fox News is being held financially responsible- but is that enough?

Congress has so many opportunities to step in on this topic (and others!) but they are consumed with trying to negotiate with lawmakers whose interests are with the lobbyists and not the constituents. What a mess. What actions should start taking place?
