Hello! I'm at a loss as to what to do with my toddler. He tantrums by smashing his face into whatever surface nearby, whether it be the floor, his crib railing, or even my shoulder. I know it's due to not getting what he wants or when we tell him no or its nap/bed time. I've tried ignoring it, I've tried putting my hands under his head before it connects with the surface, I've tried talking to him to tell me with signs/words that he's mad/frustrated/sad, but nothing has made any impact.he constantly has a lump and bruise on his forehead center and occasionally on the bridge of his nose and sides of the forehead. Every resource has told me he won't HURT himself, but 5 face bashes in a row on wood crib railing with a constant bruise and welt tells me otherwise. Help!
