Anyone trying for their first VBAC?

Is anyone here planning on trying for their first VBAC? This is my second baby. First was a C-section due to breech presentation for a uterine anomaly. However, my body dilated normally (and quickly) when I went into labor with him. All of the doctors at my clinic are VBAC advocates for good candidates and since this baby is head down and we know my body can do what it should, they are encouraging me to try. They do say that they pull the trigger a lot faster on VBAC moms in case a C-section is needed. But if I come in, well dilated, and the monitors look good, there’s no reason to not try. I have already scheduled my C-section because the idea scared me, but now I’m starting to open up to it because of all the plus sides that come with not having a C-section.
