i think it’s perfectly okay to have opposite sex friendships SO LONG AS there’s RESPECT, honestly, trust, and communication. if there isn’t even respect, you shouldn’t be in that relationship in the first place so that’s a given. but trust so that you don’t get insecure about your relationship, honesty and communication always anyways too

In my relationship CLOSE relationships with our MPS are not okay. These are boundaries we both wanted and agreed on. That being said, I made a guy friend recently and told my husband I’d like to be friends with him (he’s a coworker), which he was totally fine with for various reasons. Our boundaries on friendships with MPS are mostly don’t talk about our relationship problems, don’t tell them things first, obviously no flirting or letting them flirt, etc. Which is a healthy boundary for us 😊 Different things work for different couples.
