Clomid/IUI

A little back story— i am 30.

i had a tubal pregnancy and tubal extraction back in 2015. We finally got pregnant with my son in 2020, and had him 9/25/20. We have been trying for a year and a half or so with no luck. My doctor said with the tubal extraction i only have about a 5% or less chance of getting pregnant each cycle.

I went to my infertility appointment today. I am in great shape as far as eggs and my husband is in great shape with sperm (above average). I have had my remaining tube examined and it is in great shape as well. Our plan of action is to start Clomid during my next period, and then test ovulation to do IUI this next cycle. Has anyone had success with IUI?

Also, my doctor said that the chances of having twins is higher with Clomid. Has anyone had twins from Clomid?
