What’s your best parenting advice for new moms?

It's ok to put baby down in a safe space (even if crying) and take care of your own basic needs like eating and drinking. Far too often after my first I went without food or water because she was so fussy. You have to take care of yourself in order to take care of baby.

All of the above plus I’ll add get outside and do stuff as much as you can! It helps keep the sanity ☺️

Esh that’s a hard one! The last 4 are great advice….sleep when baby sleeps never worked for me.  That’s when I used the time for myself option instead hobbies like reading/watching my shows/walking on the treadmill depending how far out you are/yoga…and laundry/dishes/pick up the house.  So much to do while baby sleeps! Baby waking up in the night doesn’t last long, it will be over before you know it!

Options 2, 3 and 5 were what I wish I would have done more of. I cant just fall asleep easily or when I want so sleeping when the baby sleeps wasnt an option for me, but if you can, do. Trusting your instincts is important, but many women also dont have those strong instincts and thats ok. Everyone is different but they are still good moms. I also am a big believer in listening to other peoples advice and then deciding if it applys to you. Even tho advice can be stupid or unwarranted, I always try to listen and then I may decide to ignore the advice if it isnt for me or if its bad advice.

Where’s the EVERYTHING ABOVE option? Sleep when you can, don’t compare babies, always ask for help, trust your instincts, and definitely take a moment for yourself.
