How much to spend on mothers birthday present?

Do you think $70 is too little to spend on my mom for her birthday? My sister always gets her more but she makes double the money I do.

I think whatever you get her is plenty. It's the thought that counts. Not the dollar amount of a gift.

As a mother Id be happy with just some flowers and/or chocolate, or even a $20 starbucks giftcard lol. Its the thought that counts.

$70 is fine! Half the time I don’t even get my mom a gift. We really only gift things, unless it’s to kids, in my family so there really isn’t the expectation that I’d get her a gift. When I get my mom a gift it’s usually flowers and it costs between $40-90 and is very dependent on how much extra cash I have.

It’s the thought that counts. I usually just take my mom out to lunch and get her a gift card.
