I have my SO and I are 17 years apart for the whole younger ppl don’t have it together thing while the older person does isn’t true. Some ppl have to be willing to deal with certain things or willing to teach your SO. Sometimes neither party has it all the way together bc there’s this thing called life and we’ve all only been here once and still trying to figure it out. You have to ask yourself questions and your SO questions you need to be real with yourself and about the reality of things. Me personally my end goal isn’t a 9-5 all my life so it’s certain things I will eventually have to sacrifice to get there. And don’t worry about so much of the age but how the person treats you even when they are upset do they communicate well do they listen and hear are y’all willing to grow together and build and have those hard conversations if not then move around

no. i know someone though. she is 19 and he is 46. i have no idea why a 46 year old man has an interest in a young woman who has a 1 still in front of the other number, but…i digress. it’s very predatory and weird, even though he is nice to her and treats her fairly. if you’re past 30 and the person is older, i don’t really care. you’ve already done a lot of what you’ve needed to do adult wise. but any 40+ year old person dating anyone in their 20s is light years away from each other in experience within absolutely anything in life be it interests, personal and career development, etc.

Married no. Dated yes. Never again. I was his mother. He couldn’t keep a job. He was unstable. Would neglect everything knowing I would clean up his messes. I now have a doctor who is 31, I’m 44 different ball game. He has his life together. Different story. People are in different places in life. Depends on their level of maturity, how accomplished they are in life. Someone that still lives in the moms basement and plays video games all day or doesn’t work. No. Someone who is hard working, focus, driven and thats not going to depend on you financially etc.
