Am currently 11 months pp. I had what felt like ovulation cramps on 8th April. But a week later had a sort of a period. It was early, usually there would be a 2 week gap between ovulation and period. it was brownish, over 3 to 4 days. Usually I have a 7 day period. But I thought, "first period, all this awkwardness must be normal." And now, it is June and still no period. In march and April, I breastfed less since I had a nanny and was running many errands but am back home now and breastfeeding more. Could this have caused the change?

I have 2 kids, always had a regular period.

Before kids, I had a 28 day cycle with ovulation cramps on day 14.

After my first baby, period came at 13 months pp. It was a regular 29 day cycle. With ovulation cramps on day 14. I breast fed till 28 months. I hardly had any discharge until my period came back at 13 months. Ps, I had a period at 8 weeks pp after I had stopped bleeding from the birth at 4 weeks then nothing until 13 weeks so that confused me too back then.

Now, I'm still breastfeeding more than 8 times a day. I do have discharge like before pp so I believe this time my hormones are better balanced. But where is my period.

Of course, there is always that question, could I be pregnant? But I don't feel pregnant. I know, feelings ain't a guide but we were very careful.
