What age did you stop using a monitor?

My son is 3.5 and we still have the monitor in there. If it broke not sure I'd buy a new one but definitely still helpful now

My daughter is broke when she was five. So I just never bought another one.

My son is six but shares a room with his brother who is 3. They have a bunk bed so they still have a monitor so I can see if a bonk in the middle of the night is someone falling out of bed or getting out of bed so I have a heads up as to who is going to need my attention in about 30 seconds 😂

About to turn 4, still use one. Its handy when hes sick or has bad dreams and calls for us and hes either too afraid to get out of bed or doesnt feel good.

My son is nearly 4 and he still has one. He’s at the back of the house and our room is the front. So with the doors closed it’s hard to hear without the monitor.

My daughter is a week shy of 5, and we still have a sound only monitor in her room. I am hard of hearing in one ear, so the monitor really helps me to hear if something is going on in her room (if she’s sick, restless, etc).

My son is 4 still use one in his room but my daughter is 2 and I don’t use one for her (hers broke never replaced) depends on the kid tbh. I know my daughter will stay in bed meanwhile I found my son sleeping in his closet last week when I came out of the shower. 🤷‍♀️ I’ve caught him sneaking into his sisters room, in his closet under his bed. So he will have a monitor until he learns to sleep in his bed 😂 
P.s there is literally nothing fucken scarier then going upstairs and seeing your kid isn’t in their bed and having to find them only to hear “mama” whispered quietly from right behind you. I’m not kidding I almost smaked him out of fear!

We only had a sound monitor and within a couple of weeks I put it on mute because we could hear her clearly from our room. 
We only left it in there because it had a night light and showed the temperature

Around 3 when he could just get out of bed if he needed anything. We still have one sitting in my sons room but never turn it on anymore
